This Holy Face Medal, also known as the “Holy Face of Jesus Medal,” is a powerful sacramental associated with devotion to the Holy Face of Christ – a devotion revealed to Sister Marie of St. Peter in the 1840s and later promoted by Saint Thérèse of Lisieux and Venerable Leo Dupont.

The front of the medal bears the Holy Face of Jesus, recalling His suffering during the Passion, with the inscription inspired by Psalm 66:2, “May the light of Thy countenance, O Lord, shine upon us.” The reverse features the radiant IHS monogram (the Holy Name of Jesus), surrounded by the words “Mane Nobiscum Domine” (“Stay with us, Lord”) and A.M.D.G. (Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam – For the Greater Glory of God).
